REPUBLICA,June28: GAA and Prime on Monday recorded victories in the Prime Cup 12th Women's and 13th Men's National Club-wide Basketball Tournament in men's and women's sections respectively.
GAA defeated Xavier International 85-69 with Bikash Gurung scoring highest 22 points for the winner. Binesh Neupane top scored 18 points for Xavier. GAA took 19-14 lead in the first quarter and claimed the second quarter 25-15.

However, Xavier claimed the third quarter 17-16 but GAA won the fourth quarter 25-23. In the women's section, Prime beat Xavier 35-18 as Lunibha Singh scored 12 points.
Saina Magar scored eight points for Xavier. Prime won the first quarter 9-6 and the second quarter 6-0. However, in the third quarter, Xavier scored 10-8 before Prime completed the victory claiming fourth quarter 12-2.
