DAMAULI, Nov 3: Chairman of ward no. 8 of Shuklagandaki municipality-8 Krishna Regmi was physically assaulted by an unknown group on Thursday night.
The incident took place at around 10:00 pm on Thursday, following which Regmi was rushed to GP Koirala memorial hospital in ward no. 5 of the municipality, according to police inspector Srawan Kumar BK at the Area Police Office, Belchautara.

He was then referred to Pokhara for further treatment.
Meanwhile, police have arrested four suspects in relation to the incident. Further investigation is underway to find the motive behind the attack, police inspector BK said. RSS
