KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the rates, the value of the US dollar has increased once again. Similarly, the value of the European euro, UK pound sterling, and Swiss franc has also enjoyed growth in Nepali market.
As per the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 137.86, and the selling rate is Rs 138.46.
The buying rate for one euro is Rs 144.93, and the selling rate is Rs 145.56. The buying rate for one Pound sterling is Rs 172.43, and the selling rate is Rs 173.18. The Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 153.67 and a selling rate of Rs 154.34.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 86.82, and the selling rate is Rs 87.20. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 93.03 and a selling rate of Rs 96.45. The Singapore dollar's buying rate is Rs 102.64, and the selling rate is Rs 103.09.
For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is Rs 8.96, and the selling rate is Rs 9.00. The Chinese yuan's buying rate is Rs 19.01, and the selling rate is Rs 19.09. The Saudi Arabian riyal's buying rate is Rs 36.75, and the selling rate is Rs 36.91. Similarly, the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is Rs 37.81, and the selling rate is Rs 37.98.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.10, and the selling rate is Rs 4.12. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 37.53, and the selling rate is Rs 37.70. The Malaysian ringgit's buying rate is Rs 31.49, and the selling rate is Rs 31.62. The buying rate for 100 South korean won is Rs 9.63, and the selling rate is Rs 9.67. The Swedish kroner's buying rate is Rs 12.59, and the selling rate is Rs 12.65, while the Danish kroner's buying rate is Rs 19.42, and the selling rate is Rs 19.51.
The Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 17.70 and a selling rate of Rs 17.78. The Kuwaiti dinar's buying rate is Rs 447.67, and the selling rate is Rs 449.62. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 365.68 and a selling rate of Rs 367.27. The Omani riyal's buying rate is Rs 358.09, and the selling rate is Rs 359.65.
Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160.00, and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
NRB has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time if needed. It also mentioned that the rates set by commercial banks may differ and that updated exchange rates are available on the central bank's website.
