USD reaches all time high Rs 115.11

KATHMANDU, Sept 6:  A US dollar (USD) has reached an all time high of Rs. 115. 11 on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 6:  A US dollar (USD) has reached an all time high of Rs. 115. 11 on Thursday.



This selling price as determined by the Foreign Exchange Management Department of the Nepal Rastra Bank is the highest as of today.


However, the NRB has fixed the buying price of a USD at Rs 114.512.

With the value of USD is mounting day by day, the value of Indian Rupees is also decreasing. A Nepali Rupee is getting weaker against USD due to the fixed value of Rs 160 against Indian Rupee 100 that Nepali Rupee is pegged at.


On Thursday, Reserve Bank of India has pegged a USD at 71.90 Indian

rupees. An India rupee is being pegged at Rs 160.
