KATHMANDU, March 9: US Ambassador to Nepal Peter W Bodde has called on UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter's residence at Lazimpat today.

Issues related to constitution drafting process, date of issuing it, the ongoing dialogue among the political parties among others were discussed in the meeting, it is learnt. [break]
In response, the UCPN (Maoist) chair Dahal expressed confidence on promulgating the new constitution on the basis of consensus among the parties as they were holding dialogue for the same, said Dahal's aide, Shiva Khakurel. RSS
