According to the Office of the Council of Ministers, the two held discussions on preparations of upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) election and issues relating to mutual relations between Nepal and the US.[break]
On the occasion, Regmi informed Bodde that the Election Commission was doing preparations for the CA election and urged one and all not to harbor doubts regarding a free and fair election on slated time.
During the meeting, Bodde said the US government was committed to providing all sorts of assistance needed to hold the election.
