KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Bidur Sapkota, a politburo member of CPN (Unified Socialist) and Bagmati Province co-incharge, has passed away while undergoing treatment on Thursday.
Sapkota, who was admitted to Helping Hands Community Hospital after suddenly experiencing health issues, was declared dead by doctors at 3:50 am.
CPN (Unified Socialist) decides to support govt to pass budget

Sapkota played a crucial role in the first people's movement of 1990 through the struggle against the then Panchayat and student politics. He was the secretary of the CPN-UML in Kavrepalanchok for a long time.
After the split of the UML under the leadership of Madhav Kumar Nepal, he was a member of the Politburo of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and the co-in-charge of Bagmati Province. Sapkota had won the 2070 Constituent Assembly election from the then Constituency No 4.
