The committee is meeting to finalize the posts of speaker, deputy speaker, president and vice-president among others based on the discussion held with other parties, and based on our homework, said the UML Office Secretary Krishna Gopal Shrestha.The party is expected to finalize the party's candidate for the post of President and Deputy Prime Minister including the finance minister.
Party sources have said that UML Vice-chair Bidhya Devi Bhandari will be proposed for the post of President and another Vice-chair Bhim Rawal the Deputy PM holding the post of Finance Minister.
The three senior leaders discussed the matter at a meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar earlier today. The decision however was not made public. RSS
