KATHMANDU, Nov 21: CPN-UML's Krishna Bhakta Pokharel has taken the lead of 440 votes over his contender Nepali Congress’s Umesh Shrestha in Chitwan-2.

With a count of 2,258 votes, Pokharel secured 1,144 votes while Shrestha got 704 votes. In the latest update, Ravi Lamichhane of Rastriya Swatantra Party got 260 votes.
