Protesting cadres torched the bike, Ko 3 Pa 3136, Bhardah along the East-West Highway.
The cadres of the Madhes-centric parties are agitating at Bhardah, Kanchanpur, Rupani, Bisanpur, Kadmaha and other places in the district from early this morning.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Naryan Prasad Chimariya has informed that they have escorted to some 1,000 vehicles stranded along the road section from Koshi barrage to Lahan to reach their destinations.
Meanwhile, protesters have torched two pickup vans, Lu 1 Cha 6089, and Ga 1 Cha 9570, at Jahadi along the Taulihawa-Jitpur road section in Kapilvastu district last night.
The vehicles were heading to Taulihawa from Butwal by carrying fruits, it is learnt. RSS
