According to the party, the district conventions have been concluded in Taplejung, Panchthar and Terhathum districts under its Limbuwan State Committee with the election of 29 representatives and six observers to participate in the party´s General Convention to be held in Hetauda on February 2.
Similarly, the district level conventions have been held in Morang district of the Kochila State Committee with the election of 39 representatives and four observers.
The convention has also been held in Bhojpur, Khotang, Udayapur and Okhaldhunga districts under the Kirant State Committee.
Likewise the party has concluded its district level conventions in the Siraha and Sarlahi districts under the Mithila State Committee, in Rupandehi of the Abadh State Committee, in Sindhuli, Sindhupalchowk, Makwanpur and Chitwan districts under the Tamsaling State Committee and in Syangja, Tanahun, Gorkha, Manang, Lamjung, mKaski, Mustang and Parbat districts under the Tamuwan State Committee.
Also concluded are the district conventions in Arghakhanchi, Palpa Gulmi, Baglung, Rolpa, Myagdi and Salyan districts under the Magarant State Committee; in Bardiya, and Kanchanpur districts under the Tharuwan State Committee; in Humla, Kalikot, Surkhet, Jajarkot, Dailekh and Mugu districts of the Bheri Karnali State Committee; and in Doti, Achham and Bajura districts under the Seti-Mahakali State Committee.
The UCPN (Maoist) district conventions have started in Bhaktapur, Dhading, Rukum, Mohattari, Rautahat and Ilam districts on Saturday.
UML to hold district convention on January 7
