The deceased are Krishna Lal Balami, 40, and his niece Laxmi Balami, 20, of Chitlang-7, Makawanpur.
The boat ferrying six locals overturned at Tamaute while heading from Markhu VDC-6 to Kulekhani.
The bodies of the deceased were taken out from Indra Sarovar by the police in the afternoon.
