Krishna Khadka, 40, of Triyuga Municipality 2, Sangam Tole was found dead near his house in the morning. He hadgone to market following his office Friday evening. After he did not return Friday evening, the family had believed he may have stayed at relatives´ place and did not search for him in the night.
Similarly, Binod Rai, 55, of Pahadi-1 has been found dead in his room by police Saturday afternoon. The neighbors had called police to break into Rai´s room after he didn´t wake up till noon.
His relative Siddhanta Rai said he had high blood pressure and also suffered from rheumatism. Rai had been living alone renting a room having returned four years ago after staying abroad for five years.
Police have attributed both deaths to chilling cold in Udayapur following cold wave for the past few days. Deputy Superintendent of Police Pashupatinath Dotel said both the bodies have been handed over to the families.
