Nepal is taking on host India in the men's football final at Nepali time 7.15 pm at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati, India on Monday. Likewise, the final women's football tournament between Nepal-India is taking place at 4.15 pm at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in Shillong on same day.In the men's football tournament held on Saturday, Nepal reached the final sidelining the Maldives with 4-3 while India outshined Bangladesh 3-0.
Similarly, towards women front, Nepal topped the list with India in second rank in the score board based on Round-robin. With this Nepal and India are heading on in the final.
In the league round, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka 4-0, Bangladesh 3-0 and the Maldives 2-0 and played goal less draw with India while India beat Sri Lanka 5-0 and Bangladesh 5-1 and played draw with Nepal and Bangladesh. RSS
