On a tip-off that they were taking 9 kg charas to India, a team of police from Armed Police Border Security Force arrested them from Ghorahi Municipality-9. [break]
The arrestees are Goma Devi BK (50) of Dang and Kabita Nepali (30) of Rukum.
Police said 4.5 kg charas was found concealed by each of them. The arrest is a case in point that smugglers are using Kailali route to smuggle out drugs, said SP Nabaraj Aryal.
This is the third time that smugglers were arrested within merely nine days.
