DANG, Aug 29: At least two people died and 27 passengers were injured in a bus accident in Banke on Thursday.
According to police sources, the bus with registration number Bhe 1 Kha 2128, which was traveling from Dang to Nepalgunj, met with an accident at around 11:15 in the morning after the driver lost control over the vehicle at a place called Kotharpur along the Kohalpur-Nepalgunj road section.

The bus overturned on the road in Kotarhapur, Janaki Rural Municipality-6.
Police have stated that the injured have been rescued and sent to a hospital. The police have taken the bus driver into custody.
