Area Police Office, Nawalpur, said that a passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 6135) heading to the capital city from Nepalgunj and a truck (Na 5 Kha 9100) from the opposite direction collided early this morning at Gaidakot-9, killing a bus passenger on the spot and injuring 21 others. Identity of the deceased is not ascertained.
All the injured are rushed to Chitwan for treatment.
Likewise, an Indian national died after a vehicle fell off the river near Daunne in the district last night.
Fifty-year-old Mohammad Adisan, driver of the vehicle with the Indian number plate HR 45 D 9997, died in the incident, police said. RSS
