The TU staffs, who were appointed in the contract basis, have been organizing various protest programs after the TU wrote the HoDs on June 6 urging for relieving them from their services within 15 days. [break]
According to president of the University Campus Unit Committee, Renuka Thapa, the TU staffs padlocked the Offices of the HoDs as the TU administration turned deaf ear to their first round of protests.
She said they have the second round protest programmes of padlocking the TU Office of the Principal for an indefinite time, padlocking the Office of Head of Department on July 5-6, picketing at the TU Central Office on July 9, 10 and 11, and staging relay sit-in protest from July 12 onwards.
