KATHMANDU, July 27: A 22-year-old girl, Anjita Bhandari, from Pokhara Metropolitan City-26 Budhi Bazar, lost her life after a mishap during a 'cannoning' expedition.

The incident occurred at a waterfall in Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-9 Ghalel. According to the District Police Office, Kaski Bhandari fell and sustained severe injuries while participating in the cannoning.
She was immediately rushed to Manipal Teaching Hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts of the medical team, Bhandari's injuries proved fatal, and she breathed her last while undergoing treatment.
