KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has stressed on making the coordination mechanism prompt and effective among the ministries and departments under them to promote tourism.
In an interaction with journalists covering tourism beat at Nepal Tourism Board today, Minister Shahi said tourism was the effective tool to lead the country on the way to prosperity therefore it should be prioritized.
He assured to manage the effective information management system in different units in the Ministry. Minister Shahi has further shared that the government was prioritizing to develop the infrastructure to attract foreign tourists in the country.
On the occasion, secretary at the Ministry Shankar Prasad Adhikari and Nepal Tourism Board chief executive officer Deepak Raj Joshi have expressed commitment to make the information system prompt and well managed to promote the tourism sectors. RSS
