Madan Kami, 32, his wife Saraswoti, 22, and 18-month-old daughter died while sleeping in their courtyard to escape heat.
The electric wires of supply lines blown away by strong winds fell upon the trio, according to Kanchanpur Police.
The neighbors knew of the incident only in the morning.
