Nar Bahadur Rai, 72, who had gone missing for the last three days, was found dead in course of a police search at Panchakanya Resort at Panchakanya area where he had been a worker.
In two incidents of suicide, a ten-year-old Swastika Shrestha, daughter of Yuvraj Shrestha of Itahari Sub Metropolis-15 and Bishnumaya Bhujel, 64, of Dharan-23 were found hanging from ceiling in their respective rooms of their homes, police said.
Meanwhile, a blaze which broke out after electricity leakage at night time at Bankarlal Majhi's house at Tanmuna VDC-9 engulfed the neigbhouring houses belonging to Rakshu Majhi and Kalkut Majhi.
Their barns were also reduced to cinders in the fire. The blaze caused a damage worth of Rs 600,000 and killed livestock, added the DPO. The detail of the scale of the damages is still being collected. RSS
