Three Butwal-based daily newspapers merged

BUTWAL, Nov 24: Three daily newspapers published from Butwal have been merged and will be published from a single publication.



They are the Dainik Patra daily, Janasangharsha daily and Swadhin daily.[break]



Dainik Patra published from Butwal Media Publication Pvt. Ltd, Janasangharsha from High-Tech Offset Publication Pvt Ltd and Swadhin published from Swadhin Publication Pvt. Ltd. will now be published from Butwal Media Publication Pvt. Ltd.



Agreement has been reached to publish Dainik as daily, Janasangharsha as weekly and Swadhin as monthly.



The agreement was signed between Rajendra Prasad Dhwoju, chairman of Butwal Media, Maheshman Singh, chairman of High Tech, and DR Ghimire, chairman and Tilak Acharya, editor of Swadhin.



The agreement was said to be for moving ahead with a spirit of professional journalism with editorial freedom, honor and social responsibility.
