Similarly, vehicles heading towards Bhadrakali have been diverted from Maitighar, and vehicles coming from Tripureswor have been diverted from Thapathali.

Giri said, “Vehicles coming from Koteshwor have been diverted through Sinamangal and sent via Ratopul. After that, they have been directed through New Baneshwor and Thapagaon. Similarly, vehicles coming from Ratnapark have been diverted through Bagbazar. Vehicles coming from Tripureswor have been diverted via Thapathali.”

He mentioned that the protest has caused difficulties in traffic management. With the main roads closed, there has been an increased traffic load on the inner roads. Giri urged people to avoid traveling in the affected areas unless absolutely necessary and requested them to use alternative routes.

Teachers, demanding the enactment of the School Education Act, also staged protests on Wednesday. They have been protesting on the streets for the past eight days.
