Karki shares that she was born with a beautiful voice and she’s taking classes to hone her talents.[break]
Since when did you start singing and how did you get these platforms?
Unofficially, I’ve been singing from the time I was very young. Since I went to a music school, people observed me singing a couple of times and I started getting offers, and I began my musical journey officially from 2009.

Is it hard to manage two things at the same time? What would be your first priority – music or business studies?
Well, it’s not been hard till now because I keep my afternoon hours for music and do my business studies assignments in the evening. I’m passionate about singing, but I shouldn’t forget that I have a profession to work on. So there’s nothing such as first priority, I take both of them hand in hand.
Do you have any inspirations which drew you to singing?
I love Shreya Ghosal and Sapna Shree’s voice, and they give me a reason to work hard, but I am not in this field because of them. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember, and I enjoyed it avidly, so I knew that I had to be here.
What are your future plans?
I see myself as a successful playback singer in the future. I might go abroad to pursue my Master’s degree in business, but I’ll continue singing, as I love it.
