RAUTAHAT, Dec 21: The agitating students stormed to set a fire to Bankuli Police Post 18 km south from the district headquarters near the Indian border.

The irate students have already set a motorcycle, furniture in the waiting room of the police post on fire.
The students who took to the streets against the police are from a local schol called Sarmajuwa Secondary School. The students have also vandalized the area police office, Katahariya 30 km north-west of the district headquarters today morning itself.
Tabharej Alam, 10th grader of local Gaur Juddha Higher Secondary School had died in the police firing on Sunday. Alam had come to take part in the protest with maternal uncle. The students from different schools in the district have taken to the streets against the police from early today.
Following the death of the student in the police firing, students unions have called for the closure of the schools in the district.
Since Friday, UDMF has been intensifying its protests over the issues including delineation of federal provinces after the meeting with the government ended inclusively.
