KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has congratulated newly-elected Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and also expressed best wishes for the successful tenure of his Nepali counterpart.
Talking to Prime Minister Dahal over the phone today, Sri Lankan premier Wickremesinghe expressed his confidence that major tasks of constitution implementation and addressing national problems would be undertaken under PM Dahal's leadership, according to PM Dahal's private secretariat.
In response, Prime Minister Dahal thanked his Sri Lankan counterpart and noted that the existing bilateral relation between Nepal and Sri Lanka would be further strengthened in the days to come. RSS
