South Korean ambassador calls on Minister Modi

KATHMANDU, June 27: Newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) to Nepal, Park Taeyoung, today called on Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Aman Lal Modi.

KATHMANDU, June 27: Newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) to Nepal, Park Taeyoung, today called on Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Aman Lal Modi. During the meeting held at the latter's office, the minister wished the ambassador a successful tenure. 



Stating that Nepal and South Korea enjoyed cordial relations, he said Nepal wished to establish sisterly ties between the local levels and the cities of Nepal with those of South Korea.

Ambassador Taeyoung, shedding light on the people-to-people relations between Nepal and South Korea, vowed to contribute to further strengthening these ties during his term here. 


He also wished Minister Modi a successful upcoming visit to Korea.  The minister is scheduled to attend a ministerial-level meeting beginning in Busan, the second largest city in South Korea, on July 5.
