Siddhartha Bank starts branchless banking in Kavre

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Siddhartha Bank Ltd has started branchless banking service in Jhumlutar-5 of Kavre district. Issuing a statement, the commercial bank said that Ramesh Prasad Dawadi, secretary of Jhumultar VDC, formally inaugurated the service amid a function held recently.

"The service will enable the locals to deposit money into their account, withdraw deposit, transfer funds, receive statement, receive remittance payment, top up NTC, NCELL, Dish Home, UTL, Broadlink and Smart Cell, according to the statement. According to the statement, the bank has been providing branchless banking service in 64 places across the country.
