The parliamentary party meeting held at Singh Durbar on Monday asked the government to uphold the decision of the hospital´s board to appoint Laxmi Narayan Singh as executive director of the hospital.[break]
The hospital board had appointed Singh as executive director of the hospital after the three-year term of Dr Bhaktman Shresha ended on September 9, 2010.
Nepali Congress parliamentary party spokesman Joshi said the meeting also asked the government to ease the supply of petroleum products. "We have decided not to obstruct the budget session but opposed government move to bring early budget now," he further said. "The early budget at this hour is aimed at diverting attention of the entire nation and Constituent Assembly away from peace process and constitution drafting process."
