A team comprising 20-25 student cadres led by Chandra Kanta Bhatta of ANNISU-R had demonstrated hooliganism on the school premises, said the District Police Office, Kanchanpur.

The irate students vandalized two vehicles, computer, furniture, laptops, two buses, telephone sets and other physical aides in Florida School while they also smashed computers, furniture and telephone sets in Prabhat Vidhya Niketan.

They resorted to vandalize school physical properties after school management refused to provide them donation amount they demanded, said Florida School Principal Nisha Bhatta.

School teachers have complained that the police personnel, who were only 500 meters away from both the schools, reached there after half-an-hour.

Police have been mobilized to search for the vandals, said Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) at District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Birkha Bahadur Rawal.
