KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Supreme Court (SC) has sought cast ballot papers and related documents from Election Commission on the writ filed by Nepali Congress leader Pradeep Paudel demanding re-counting of the ballot papers.
A constitutional bench of the apex court including Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli issued an order to submit all the related documents.
Years on, CIAA still struggles to collect Joshi case documents

Paudel, candidate from Tanahun-2 (A) had filed the writ at SC demanding the re-counting of the ballot papers after being defeated by margin of five votes with Left Alliance candidate Asha Koirala.
Paudel had garnered 16641 votes whereas Koirala had secured a victory with 16646 votes in the provincial assembly election.
