KATHMANDU, April 18: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the rumors about a change in the government formed through the cooperation of major parties are false and urged everyone to confidently focus on development and good governance.


While inaugurating the administrative building of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality in Chitwan on Friday, PM Oli stated that the government was formed through the unity of historically significant parties to ensure stability, development, and good governance in the country. He emphasized that the government is clear about its goals and direction.

“We are fully committed to establish good governance in the country, to make Nepal prosperous and the Nepali people happy. You too should confidently join this campaign. Let’s all work together to build the nation,” PM Oli said. “During the constitution-drafting process, we made arrangements for the local government with the idea of ​​building Singha Durbar in villages. I believe that you will reflect on both your rights and responsibilities, and focus on safeguarding our hard-won political system and ensuring the effective implementation of the constitution.”


PM Oli also mentioned that a housing program would be introduced for the Chepang community. He expressed confidence that the new building would facilitate good governance and service delivery in the rural municipality. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh, Bagmati Province Chief Deepak Prasad Devkota, among others.
