KATHMANDU, Aug 21: Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to seek the last explanation from suspended General Secretary Dr Mukul Dhakal, before removing him from the party.

The RSP’s central committee meeting held at the party office on Wednesday decided to seek a final explanation from Dhakal before proceeding with his removal from the party.
Earlier, the RSP had decided to remove him from his positions as general secretary, spokesperson, and central member of the party “due to his actions deemed contrary to the party's interests.” However, he retained his status as an ordinary member.
