RPP boycotts House meeting, RSP protests continue

As soon as the meeting began on Monday, lawmakers from both RSP and RPP stood up in protest. In response, Speaker Devraj Ghimire allotted time for RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden and RSP Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar to speak.

KATHMANDU, June 16: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) boycotted today’s House of Representatives meeting, while the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) continued its protest with chants and slogans.
