Lawmakers of the party exited Constituent Assembly (CA) process soon after the Madheshi People’s Rights Forum (Democratic) deserted CA process by submitting a letter to CA Chairman Subas Nembang.
The lawmakers informed Nembang that they won’t be involved in statute drafting process until their demands are addressed.
“We will not participate in any CA process unless our demands are met,” Chairman Bhandari said, “Agitating parties should be brought to table for talks and their demands should be fulfilled.”
Lawmakers Dharmendra Kumar Sha Teli, Nirjala Raut and Dinesh Sha are representing the party in the CA.
