RKA distributes relief worth Rs 15m

KATHMANDU, June 1: Relief materials worth Rs 15 million have been distributed to the quake victims by Ram Krishna Ashram (RKA), a charity organization based in Kathmandu.

The RKA distributed various items, including rice, tents, carpets, wheat flour, milk powder, blanket, kitchen utensils and mosquito nets to quake victims in various parts of Sindhupalchowk, Nuwakot and Kathmandu districts, according to a statement issued by the charity organizations on Monday.


RKA also provided tents and other materials to Janauddhar Higher Secondary School and Balambu Higher Secondary School in Chandragiri Municipality.

The relief materials were handed over to school authorities by Swami Gaurangananda on behalf of RKA. Tika Uprety, vice principal of Apex College, made a brief remark highlighting the importance of selfless work at such a critical hour.

The RKA has also been providing Mind Management Training to school teachers and is committed to providing training on demand.
