The recitation is to be managed by Alag Abhiyan, a group of young literature lovers. Also, as part of the event, a dance will be performed by O2E, a group of young dancers.
The chief guest of the program is Kiran Manandhar, chancellor of Nepal Fine Art Academy.
The Gold Star Youth Club, Naikap will be awarded with the “Ratoghar Samman” comprising a computer at the event.
The reason for the award, according to Ratoghar, is that the Gold Star Youth Club has been promoting and protecting traditional art and culture and serving local communities since last 17 years through various programs.
“We want to encourage young people to involve in creative works and that is what we strive for,” claims Sneh Sayami, a poet, who is coordinating events at Ratoghar.
Ratoghar has been organizing regular poem recitation, film and documentary screenings as well as various interaction and discussion programs.
The organization has been providing space to young people and youth organizations free of charge. It further plans to include systematizing its activities in future.
