The Civil Security Day is being celebrated across the country organizing various programmes with the slogan ´Let’s become responsible citizens by informing about criminals´.
The rally was organized by the Home Ministry, Nepal Police and the Armed Police. The rally started from Shantibatika of Ratnapark and converged into an assembly at Basantapur after going through Bagbazaar, Putalisadak, Bhadrakali, Sahidgate and New Road.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar inaugurated the rally after putting a sticker with the slogan of the Day on a public vehicle (Ba 2 Kha 3240).
Present in the rally were ministers and secretaries of the government, chief of the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, National Investigation Department along with high ranking officials, representatives of civil society and general public.
Participants of the rally had carried out play cards reading various slogans including ´Let’s be safe from road accidents´, ´Let’s not drive vehicles in high speed´.
Police personnel of the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force played band music giving message of civil security.
