Addressing a function organized at Badachaur in Rolpa on Saturday, Minister Pun ruled out the possibility of the country seeing promulgation of new constitution on May 28. He said they could extend the term of CA for another six months by bringing out an integrated draft of new constitution by May 28. [break]
Pun said that they should bring out the integrated draft of new constitution even if there was no consensus among major political parties on various contentious issues. He said that parties are yet to arrive at consensus on various issues including the modality of combatants integration, system of governance and electoral system.
Minister Pun said that the government is working with high priority to reconstruct the infrastructures destroyed during the insurgency. He also inaugurated a road that connects Sulichaur of Rolpa with Pyuthan.
