Prithvi Highway’s Bimalanagar section to remain closed for a month

The Bimalnagar section of Prithvi Highway in Bandipur Rural Municipality-4, Tanahun, will remain partially closed for a month.

Damauli (Tanahun), Feb 21: The Bimalnagar section of Prithvi Highway in Bandipur Rural Municipality-4, Tanahun, will remain partially closed for a month.


To accelerate road construction in Chunpahara, Bandipur-4, they will restrict traffic on a 500-meter stretch from the Transport Management Office in Bimalnagar to Naya Pul starting today (February 21) until March 22.

Engineer Bishnu Prasad Pandey of the Muglin-Pokhara Road Project (Eastern Section) stated that officials will close the affected section periodically for 45 minutes to an hour as needed. During these closures, small vehicles and motorcycles must use an alternative route via Bimalnagar–Marsyangdi Bridge–Kumal Gaun–Naya Pul. Meanwhile, heavy vehicle operators must strictly follow lane discipline when stopping or driving through the area.
