Chief Of Army Staff Gaurav Shumsher Rana briefed the president on rescue and relief distribution operations carried out by the Nepal Army during the earthquake disaster, a press statement issued by the army reads.
The president is the supreme commander of Nepal Army. The army headquarters buildings have been also affected by the recent earthquakes forcing the army chief to operate from a tent set up in the office premises.
