President invited for his presence in statute promulgation ceremony

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subas Nembang has extended a formal invitation to President Dr Ram Baran Yadav for his presence in the ceremony for promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal 2072 BS.

The CA Chairman extended the formal invitation to President Dr Yadav by reaching the Office of the President this morning.


Preparations have been made to promulgate the new constitution at 5 pm on September 20. President Yadav will announce the promulgation of the new constitution at a special ceremony to be held at the CA Building.

After submitting the invitation to the President, Nembang said, "I extended a written invitation to President Dr Yadav formally for his presence in the ceremony for promulgation of the constitution at 5:00 pm on September 20."

Nembang said that process to pass the articles of the constitution is going on and this will end by Thursday.

According to Nembang, President Dr Yadav said that he would soon inform for his presence to attend the ceremony. "President will attend the ceremony. I am fully confident," the CA Chairman said.

Currently, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala is holding talks with President Dr Yadav at Sheetal Niwas. RSS
