Police confirm suspicious packages sent to diplomatic missions in Australia

SYDNEY, Jan 9: Several suspicious packages were delivered to embassies and consulates in Canberra and Melbourne on Wednesday, the Australian Federal Police said in a statement.

The packages were being examined and the circumstances around the incidents investigated, police said without providing further details.
