NC lawmaker Sharma arrested on charge of forging educational certificates

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: A lawmaker of ruling Nepali Congress (NC) Sunil Sharma has been detained by the police.

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: A lawmaker of ruling Nepali Congress (NC) Sunil Sharma has been detained by the police.

Police Spokesperson Deputy Inspector General of Police Kuber Kadayat informed Republica that a team of Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested lawmaker Sharma from Kathmandu on Thursday afternoon.

According to police sources, lawmaker Sharma has been accused of forging educational certificates.
