Issuing a press statement on Sunday, Pokhara Dairy Entrepreneurs' Association said they won't be able to collect, process, and distribute milk from Monday" "We were compelled to take the decision due to shortage of petroleum product"," Punya Prasad Poudel, coordinator of the association, said" "We can neither collect milk from farmers, nor can supply dairy products to retailer".There are three dairy farmers' cooperatives and 10 milk processing plants in Pokhara. These plants collect around 50,000 liters of fresh milk from farmers every day."
