"The incumbent government will not step down under any circumstances until and unless the drafting of the new constitution is guaranteed", he said.

Minister Sharma who is also the UCPN (Maoist) leader claimed that a conspiracy was being hatched to foil the constitution drafting process and underlined the need of raising a strong voice by one and all against such ´conspiracy´.

The incumbent government was committed to giving the people new constitution, he said, urging the people to be hopeful of this.

Referring to the Friday´s attack on Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal during the party tea reception in the capital, Sharma said it was an expression by the reactionary and anti-federalism forces.
