PM positive on ANNISU-R demands

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has expressed commitment to fulfill the 60-point demands presented by the ANNISU- Revolutionary.



In a meeting with the delegation led by ANNISU-Revolutionary President Himal Sharma held at the prime minister´s office on Wednesday, Dr. Bhattarai directed PM´s Political Advisor Devendra Paudel to form a ten member task force to fulfill the just demands of the students.[break]



The Task Force will be comprised of five students associated with the ANNISU-Revolutionary and joint secretaries of the Ministries of Finance, Labor, Transport Management, Education and Supplies, said Minister of Education Dinanath Sharma.



According to Sharma, agreement has been made to issue a Ration Card Directory within one month. Ration cards will ease students for getting kerosene, gas, food grains and other daily consumer goods in fair prices.
