KATHMANDU, Jan 29: On the occasion of Martyrs' Day, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli visited the Martyrs' Gate and the Martyrs' Memorial to pay tribute to the martyrs.
On Wednesday, PM Oli, along with Deputy Prime Ministers and Deputy Speaker, visited the Martyrs' Gate and the Martyrs' Memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs.

The government has been celebrating Martyrs' Day on Magh 16 in memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the establishment and restoration of democracy and freedom in different periods of history.
The government has also declared a public holiday on the occasion of the day today.
