PM Oli laid the foundation stone for the road on January 30, 2021 during his third term as Prime Minister.

The government built the road at a cost of Rs 1.76 billion and installed street lights on both sides. The six-lane road stretches 50 meters in width, with 11.5-meter black-topped lanes on each side. A 3 to 4-meter median divides the road, while drainage systems run alongside the main road. Service lanes, measuring between 5.5 and 6 meters, have been constructed on the outer edges.
